A template for the idea writer's standing instructions
Fill in this structure once and every batch of ideas follows it.
Standing instructions are the rules the idea writer applies to every batch. Clear, checkable rules beat long descriptions.
The template
Audience: [who watches, age, what they want]
Tone & voice: [e.g. confident, a little cocky, never salesy]
Formats that work: [e.g. POV lines, "How I…" flexes, >>> comparisons]
Rules:
- Most hooks under 8 words, never more than 15
- Always lowercase
- Never mention prices or the brand name
- Avoid: [words you never want to see]
Captions: [e.g. 1–2 lines that add a second punchline, end with a soft question]Turn rough notes into rules
You don't have to write it perfectly. Write notes in your own words — for example "jüngere zielgruppe, frech aber nicht cringe, keine preise" — and press Optimize prompt. You get a structured version and a list of what changed, and you decide whether to use it.
Tip: Change one rule at a time and compare the next batch. That way you know which rule made the difference.
